Are we really Independent on this Independence Day?

Today is 15 August and in the history of India, called as INDependence Day. In the year 1947 on this day one Sovereign nation was born none other than ‘APNA HINDUSTAN’.

Everyone talks about Independence, how it was achieved and how we are making progress towards developing India or developed one. But I always think do we really independent? I have a big DOUBT. We never even think of this day if it was not NATIONAL HOLIDAY.

Even I am like all Indians also proud of this day or at least show to others but when I see my present India I really miss that proud feeling which was there may be when I was in school or may be during those days when I was not aware of things that were happening around me.

There were people like Late Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Gandhiji and other freedom fighter that had helped us to gain this Word ‘Independence’ but being Indian Citizen are we contributing anything to this word Independence?

There are many questions that are there in my mind relating to this BIG issue like:

1)    How many states of India is really Independent and Out of Independent States, how many people are really independent??

2)    How many of us have courage to come out in public and Say that WE are doing something towards maintaining this ‘INDEPENDENCE’?

3)    How many of us really looking to discuss this issue and decide the conclusion?

Whenever I listen to people calling India a developing Country, Only few Cities (NOT STATES) come in my mind which I feel or sense part of this INDIA and are independent like Mumbai, some cities of Gujarat and Bangalore. Rest of India according to me is still dependent. There are many states in India like Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Sikkim and Tripura which I wonder, are they part of India?

I got one SMS about our Present INDIA and I thought it is worth sharing:

“Hamara Bharat mahaan?.?

Ek iesa Desh jahaa Pizza Ambulance ke pehle ghar pahuchta hai..

Jahaa Car Loan 7% hai aur Education Loan 12%..

Jahaa Chaawal Rs. 40/kg me milta hai aur sim card free..

Jahaa Log Durga ki pooja karte hai aur ladki paidaa hone pe uska khoon..

Jahaa Olympic Shooter ko Swarne Padak(gold medal) jitne pe sarkar 3 crore dete hai, aur Dusra Shooter jo border pe dusmno se ladte hue shahid hota hai use 1 lakh..

Sach me hamara bharat mahaan hai...???”

It always comes in my mind that what is going on. But now I understood one thing that no one is interested in maintaining this word ‘Independence’ unless one day they will lose Independence.

Now there is no External Threat to this India, our freedom fighters had solved that issue for us. Now what is left is Internal and we so called Indian Citizen have to become Fighters to solve this issue.

Even I am culprit for the above situation and I have no right to blame others. There are few friends around me who according to me are doing good work or at least attempting for maintaining this country Independent.

Few incidents where I think I could have done something but I didn’t may be the reason was my mind which keeps on saying ‘what will other think’.

I would like to share two such incidents:

1)    Recently there were movement towards corruption in which my friend Mr. Pundalik Dalvi took part and being a CA I know how hard for him to take out time for such movement but he did. He has given his attempt and I am proud of him. I read this on FB well before the movement but didn’t do anything. Sorry for this.

2)    Another small incidence but worth sharing.

I along with two of my friends in which one was Mr. Vinayak Samant were sitting in CCD and suddenly on TV National Anthem started. And out of so many people sitting in CCD only this Gentleman stood up for National Anthem.

From that day I thought are we really proud of our India and if yes we couldn’t stand also for our National Anthem.

I don’t really think anyone needs to know what are the issues but what is important is we have to take care of them one by one and yes we have to unite for them.

And I promise to give my 100%.

 Jai Hind

Nautanki No. 1 during Budget Session: Railway Budget

Why Nautanki? You will surely agree once this session end. Nautanki not because budget was poor. Believe me i impressed with this budget even though they increased the base fare for everyone for sure. But this guy so call railway minister has taken a brave decision to increase the same (once in a decade) for 3 reasons: 1) Safety 2) Safety and 3) Safety. I really don't know whether this will (intention shown by RM (Railway Minister)) happen or not but why not give an opportunity to him to see wonderful future.

Let me highlight who is or was (at the time of writing this blog) our railway minister. (Source: Kolkata Bengal info)

Name: Dinesh Trivedi
Education: MBA from Texas ( USA )
Spouse: Dr. (Mrs.) Minal Trivedi

Yes even i had a same expression MBA that too from USA and i also heard from some news channel that he took education loan to pursue that.... educated railway minister, strange if will check the education history of our past railway minister. 1) Mamta Benerjee: LLB 2) Lalu Yadav: LLB etc.

Its true that education does not make man intelligent but it is one out of infinite criteria. ryt? My thought should not be interpreted as only qualified person can become good or best minister as our Mr. Manmohan Singh (most qualified prime minister) is an exception to it.

Oh let me come back why i called it Nautanki... Great day for RM till evening but after that all politician started pulling this RM on fare hike issue and started by RM's own party (TMC) Supremo Mamta Banerjee. I feel every politician think that people are stupid or might be we are because we only given them those power which they are enjoying. Nautanki started by RM's Speech and ended by his resignation by late night and more funny thing is that same (resignation) got accepted also by PM (person who does not work whole day, works only in night).

Poor RM/PM.

NO 'M' has any power to enjoy their rights as same is been utilising by their supremo i.e. MB/SG.

So wait for another Nautanki...

Bye for Now!
